Master of Science in Bioinformatics
Polytechnic Institute of NYU’s master’s degree in Bioinformatics delivers the cutting-edge program that organizes and translates data recently available on living organisms as a result of the human genome project and follow-up projects. This program prepares students for academia as well as the dynamic pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
This program prepares graduates at an advanced level for a professional career as a practicing electrical engineer in industry, business or government. It also prepares students to pursue the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. MSEE programs focus on telecommunications, digital signal processing, electrical power systems, electromagnetics and electrophysics of materials.  

Master of Science in Telecommunication Networks
The MS in Telecommunication Networks offers extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in voice and data communication networks. Students completing this degree program have a thorough understanding of the technical and operational aspects of networks as well as the foundational theory of voice and data communications and network management. This program prepares students for careers in industries such as banking, corporate networks, gigabit optical networks and wireless network access.  

Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security
The demand for skilled information security professionals is growing significantly. This graduate certificate allows technical professionals to obtain key bodies of knowledge and specializations in Cyber Security. Students will acquire an understanding of various technologies in emerging areas of security like computer and network security, digital forensics, cryptography and biometrics. Students will be able to immediately apply their knowledge to manage the risk of cyber attacks. Courses are developed and taught by Polytechnic Institute of NYU’s renowned faculty in the Information Systems and Internet Security (ISIS) Laboratory. Graduate Certificate in Telecommunication Networks
The explosive growth of data networks has brought with it the need for effective network management. The widespread deployment of standards-based solutions (e.g., SNMP) is but a first step in design with the complexity of network management. A thorough knowledge of network protocols and network management standards is necessary for any practitioner in these areas. Graduate Certificate in Wireless Innovation
Wireless telecommunication has experienced remarkable growth since the introduction of cellular telephones. With licensing of the FCC of spectrum for Personal Communication Services (PCS) and other services such as wireless LAN, wireless local loop, wireless PDA and the emerging wireless Internet, the growth rate is expected to increase even further. This graduate certificate provides those with an EE background the specific knowledge they need to work in this expanding market. Am I eligible for the NYU-ePoly program?

To be eligible for admission as a graduate student, you must:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution involving a minimum of 4 years of full-time study

• Have achieved a cumulative average of “B” (GPA of 3.0/4.0) in your major

Attention will be given to the listing of schools by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Computer Science Accreditation Board (CSAB), and by the various regional accrediting associations.

If you wish to enter a graduate field of study different from the undergraduate field in which you earned your bachelor’s degree, you must anticipate the possibility of taking prerequisite courses for which graduate credit may not be given.
